Each lesson in this section is listed in alphabetical order not sequentially from easiest to most difficult. Each also has a teacher’s instructional page. Please read the suggestions for each lesson prior to class. Another recommendation would be to download or open each lesson and save it to your computer or to your school’s server. This will make the time needed to open a lesson considerably less.

A click anywhere on the slide will bring the correct answers one at a time. Ask the students to identify the word that is being described. This will help them connect the purpose of an adjective. The story ends with a surprise present that is described with many adjectives. Students can then guess what is in the box by using the adjective clues. Tell them to whisper to their neighbor what the surprise will be. This allows everyone to guess. Follow up story with practice describing something in your room. If you’re brave, it could be you!
